Landmark and Historic Preservation
Real estate projects with a landmark or historical component are often subjected to additional zoning and code requirements. Design 2147 has the most extensive code library of any New York City firm, meaning we are able to give our clients the best advice, ensure all paperwork is completed correctly, and effectively argue any unfavorable decisions by the Department of Buildings (DOB), the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), and the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC).
