As a result of Local Law 77 of 2013, the deadline for submitting applications for adjustments to Local Law 97 of 2019 annual building emissions limits has been extended.
Not-for-profit healthcare facilities and buildings with excessive emissions due to a special circumstance have until January 1, 2025 to submit adjustment applications for the 2024-2029 calendar years. Buildings with emissions of 40% or more than the building’s 2024 limit due to a special circumstance qualify to submit an adjustment application via DOB NOW.
