Late last year, the City adjusted the fee structure for Energy Code Compliance Reviews.
Previously, all applications paid a $220 Energy Code Compliance Review Fee. Now the fee is based on the type of building, see below.
Energy Code Compliance Review Fees:
- $875 New buildings and Alterations that change the CO for other than 1-, 2- or 3-family dwellings
- $220 1-, 2- or 3-family dwellings*
- $525 Alterations for other than 1-, 2- or 3-family dwellings*
*DOB has advised that the fee is not being charged for alterations that do not change the CO until further notice.
