The Department of Sanitation announced that starting October 6th curbside composting will be available to all Bronx, Manhattan and Staten Island residents. Residents in Brooklyn and Queens already have access to the curbside composting service. This year-round service takes place once a week on your recycling day.
Members of the public can visit The Department of Sanitation’s website to join a virtual general information session over the next few weeks. There will be additional informational meetings specifically for property managers, superintendents, board members and building owners.
