DOB Publishes Enactment Date for New Construction Codes

The New York City Department of Buildings has published on their Code Revision page that the 2022 NYC Construction Codes will go into effect on November 7, 2022.
 

This comes one year after Local Law 126 of 2021 was approved by City Council to adopt the new Construction Codes. The 2022 NYC Construction Codes are based on the 2015 International Construction Codes with revisions specific to New York City.
