Many owners recently received notifications from the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) regarding periodic gas piping system inspection reports.
All buildings located in community board districts 11, 12, 14, 15, & 17 are part of sub-cycle D and must submit inspection reports by December 31, 2023. Buildings located in community board districts 4, 6, 8, 9, & 16 are part of sub-cycle C and were required to submit reports in 2022, however if a required report was not submitted, DOB is requiring that reports are submitted by December 31, 2023.
